Born and raised in Kansas and a proud Texan since 1997, I’ve called Houston home since 2020. After a long hiatus from painting—having last picked up a brush in high school in 1996—I returned to art in the summer of 2024 as a form of emotional therapy. What began as a personal outlet quickly became a deeply fulfilling creative journey.
My work primarily features abstract landscapes, shaped by mood and a search for inner calm. Each piece is a reflection of the peace of mind I’m seeking, infused with emotion and intuition. There’s a quiet intensity in the colors and forms I use—echoes of both struggle and serenity.
I’ve been fortunate to receive commissions that have pushed me beyond my comfort zone, helping me grow and explore the boundaries of my artistic voice. Watching my style evolve has been both healing and energizing. There is beauty in the progression, and I am excited to see where it leads.
My husband, Robert, has been the greatest support and partner. His encouragement and love gives me gives me exactly what I need to move forward."
